AmaLea to Set Sail with Twin Balconies in Most Staterooms

AmaWaterways launched its newest ship last March. The AmaLea made its maiden voyage out of Amsterdam.

AmaLea will start sailing its Danube itineraries May 6, and its official christening ceremony will be held on May 26, 2018 in Germany. The cruise ship has luxurious amenities, a spacious design, and excellent services that will make each cruise a memorable one for its guests.

Similar to the AmaStella, AmaViola, and AmaKristina, the AmaLea will have connecting and triple occupancy staterooms that are perfect for families traveling with members of all ages. Other amenities include a complimentary cocktail hour every day, heated sun deck pool, massage and hair salons, fitness center, free Wi-Fi, and bicycles. The bikes can be used for guided shore tours. The luxury cruise ship features the company’s signature twin balconies in most of its staterooms.

The cruise ship has several dining venues that include The Chef’s Table and the Cello Deck. When it is not mealtime, passengers can order snacks in the main bar and lounge. It has a dance floor and panoramic windows that offer a good view. It also has music provided by the resident pianist. The ship has a 24-hour coffee and tea station that’s free for all passengers.

Onboard dining provides various sophisticated menus composed of fresh produce; fresh seafood and fish; choice cut meats; soups; and more. The gourmet breakfast buffet features a wide range of bread, pastries, and croissants. You can also opt for yogurt, fresh fruits, smoked salmon, and cereals.

After its maiden voyage, the AmaLea took six Tulip Time cruises before starting its seven-night cruises along the Danube River between Budapest and Vilshofen. AmaLea will end the year with four Christmas Markets Cruises along the Danube River.
